*Why You'll Love This Role:* As an Emergency Department RN, you'll be at the heart of providing compassionate, high-quality nursing to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. You'll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in patient advocacy, education, and care coordination.
*What You'll Do:*
* Deliver expert emergency nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
* Support patients and families with empathy, education, and clear communication.
* Respond swiftly and calmly to emergent and critical situations.
* Triage patients efficiently and accurately.
* Document care thoroughly and thoughtfully.
* Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new team members and students.
* Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
*What We're Looking For:* *RN License*: Current or compact state license (Iowa).
*Experience*: One year of RN experience preferred. New grads welcome if you've completed a senior preceptorship in our ED or have relevant emergency/EMS experience.
*Certifications*:
- Mandatory Reporter training (within 3 months of hire)
- BLS (within 6 weeks)
- ACLS (within 6 months)
- TNCC (within 1 year)
- PALS (within 3 months)
